# Tech writing & Documentation management
Moov Financial | April 2023 - Present
I partner with product managers and engineers to write payment integration reference guides and tutorials. I also contribute to the frontend of the docs platform by creating templates and UI components with Hugo.
My other responsibilities include maintaining the API, managing the changelog and docs newsletter, and contributing to the overall content and SEO strategy.

CircleCI | August 2021 - February 2023
I interacted with CircleCI's open-source community through PRs and issues opened on GitHub. Anyone can contribute to the docs, so I would review contributions for accuracy, consistency, and style. I also partnered with product managers and engineers to write continuous integration reference guides and tutorials. While I updated and wrote new content for the entire docs site, I owned the runner section.
My other responsibilities included maintaining the API and creating UI components with React for the docs platform.

Animalz | November 2020 - August 2021
In an agency setting, I wrote two kinds of long-form content for clients. I researched and wrote technical content optimized for search engines and I ghostwrote engineering blog posts. I interviewed engineers to understand technical builds, process, and intentions. Then, I would turn those interviews into tutorial blog posts.

Personal technical writing
As a creative developer, I focused on SVG manipulation and animation. I started writing technical content to explain to designers how I built specific projects we collaborated on.

# Frontend development
WeTransfer | September 2017 - November 2020
I was one of two developers in the in-house creative studio. I partnered with designers and project managers to create unique, global advertising campaigns and interactive websites. Our advertising campaigns were built with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, and animation libraries like GSAP and Three.js. I also created and maintained various company websites with React and Vue frontends.
In addition to traditional development, I helped other teams manage content through the headless content management system, Contentful. This included updating content and setting up a system for translations. I also helped the email marketing manager maintain segmentations, set up GDPR compliance, and create custom email templates.
Greenfield development projects:

# Other work experience
Apple | 2008 - 2015
I held a handful of retail roles including:
- Sales
- Visual merchandiser
- Scheduling administrator
In the sales role, I worked with customers to solve software and hardware problems. I also helped managers open and close the store, which included cash reconciliation and submitting daily reports.
As a visual merchandiser, I managed the software on all internal store devices as well as customer demo devices. I led overnight teams in preparation for product launches — we set up new products, merchandising, and window displays.
As a scheduling administrator, I managed employee schedules, vacations, and what roles each person would fill for the day.
